the absence of something speaks as loud as the presence of it…or at least it should.
I take a look at some people around me and I am filled with sorrow. My sorrow turns to frustration and then to anger. I see things and I know they are wrong. Wrong. But I am helpless to change it. It is not my business to do so. Yet I cannot sit still.
Why do some people take advantage of kindness and ruin it? It is so discouraging to be kind because there are others in the world that see it and take it as a sign that they can step all over you. Why can’t people be mature enough to recognize the beauty of kindness and feel the need to reciprocate it? Instead, like blood hungry wolves, they pounce at a chance to use it for their own selfish intentions.
Sometimes the world can be so cruel and full of injustice. Disillusion…so easy to fall victim to it.
